Ericks Webs Design respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit our website, submit a form, request an audit or recommendation, book a meeting, become a client, or interact with our advertising.

Information we collect

  • Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, business name, website URL, service interests, project details, budget or timing information, files, messages, and payment or contract-related information provided through secure services.
  • Website and device information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location, cookie or similar identifiers, form interactions, and security or performance information.
  • Advertising attribution: campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers such as GCLID or FBCLID.
  • Client and sales records: communications, recommendations, proposals, lead status, signed agreements, invoices, payments, project activity, support requests, and service history.

How we use information

  • Respond to inquiries, evaluate fit, prepare recommendations, estimates, and proposals, and provide requested services.
  • Route inquiries through WordPress, email, our customer relationship management system, and workflow automation tools.
  • Operate online intake, scheduling, agreements, invoicing, payments, client portals, support, and project delivery.
  • Measure website and advertising performance, understand which campaigns produce qualified opportunities, prevent duplicate reporting, and improve our offers and follow-up.
  • Protect our website, accounts, clients, and systems from fraud, spam, abuse, and security threats.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Analytics and advertising measurement

We use services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and, when enabled, Meta advertising tools. These services may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits, form submissions, and advertising interactions.

When a lead advances in our sales process, we may send Google or Meta a limited conversion event, advertising click identifier, and normalized contact information transformed with SHA-256 hashing. Hashing is a one-way process used for matching and attribution; we do not send project notes, form messages, proposals, payment details, or website passwords for advertising matching. Advertising providers process this information under their applicable data-processing terms and policies.

We use these signals to understand whether advertising generated an inquiry, qualified opportunity, proposal, or customer. We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define advertising-related disclosure or targeted advertising more broadly and may provide an opt-out right.

Cookies and choices

You can control cookies through your browser and the privacy or advertising controls provided by Google and Meta. Blocking cookies may limit measurement or certain site features. You may also contact us to request that we stop using your information for our targeted advertising or advertising measurement where applicable.

How we disclose information

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to service providers that help us operate hosting, email, analytics, advertising, CRM, automation, scheduling, agreements, invoicing, payment processing, security, and project delivery; to professional advisers; during a business transaction; or when required to comply with law or protect rights and safety. Providers may include Google, Meta, WordPress and hosting providers, Perfex CRM, n8n, email providers, scheduling services, and payment processors such as Stripe.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including customer service, project records, accounting, legal compliance, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. Retention varies by record type. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of personal data, or ask to opt out of targeted advertising, certain disclosures, or profiling. We may need to verify your identity. You may appeal a decision by replying to our response and stating that you wish to appeal. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Children and sensitive information

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. Do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification, medical records, financial account credentials, passwords, or other highly sensitive information through public website forms.
