A lot of people have a hard time articulating what they like or don’t like about a website design. Look at Your Website Design as a Series of Elements

Rather than just commenting on the overall look and feel of the site, try breaking it down into its core components. By reviewing each item, you can address smaller issues without having to scrap the whole website design.

Content Structure

First, you should take a look at the site’s content structure. The flow of your website is essential to the user experience. What is the first thing your visitors see? How will they move from page to page? Where is the final destination? A clear path, or hierarchy, of ideas and messages, means more conversions.

Colors

Does the color palette complement your logo and reflect your company brand? For example, you would not expect to see a black and red color scheme on a McDonald’s website.
